We amplify the impact of CIMMYT’s Wheat Improvement Courses by bringing critical funding, scientific expertise, mentoring, and other resources. We strengthen existing training programs by mobilizing funds and volunteer crop scientists to offer their time and expertise to train new “hunger fighters.”
National Agricultural Research Systems
We also work directly with national agricultural programs in developing countries to fill capacity building needs. Some of the organizations include the Institut National Agronomique de Tunisie, the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research, and the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council.
