Parveen Chhuneja is Director of the Gurdev Singh Khush Institute of Genetics, Plant Breeding & Biotechnology at Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana, India. She holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, India. Prior to assuming her current role, as a Principal Molecular Geneticist Parveen led a comprehensive research program focusing on wheat wide hybridization, genomic applications in crop improvement, and accelerated wheat breeding. She has been actively engaged in training and mentoring activities throughout her career.
