The Borlaug Training Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors that is responsible for overall policy and direction of the organization. In addition to the Board of of Directors, the Borlaug Training Foundation also has a group of Advocates that fully participate in Board committees and activities of the foundation.
Our Board Members and Advocates are world-renowned senior scientists and professors, who are committed to training and mentorship. Many of us were mentored or inspired by Dr. Borlaug and therefore appreciate his values for continued success. By engaging our vast network within the international community, we connect young scientists with active and retired senior scientists willing to serve as mentors.
Members of the Board of Directors and Advocates serve on a voluntary basis and receive no compensation for their services. This ensures that all donations go directly towards supporting the mission of our foundation.
