Priyanka Gupta is a postdoctoral researcher at Université Laval and the Centre de Recherche sur les Grains (CÉROM), Quebec, Canada. Originally from India, she received a Ph.D. from the University of Bologna (Italy) and has since focused on developing climate-resilient wheat cultivars by integrating field phenotyping, genotyping, and genetic resource evaluation. Priyanka’s expertise spans abiotic stress tolerance, genomic studies, and root system architecture for drought adaptation in wheat and legumes. She is dedicated to mentoring and empowering the next generation of agricultural scientists, including organization of scientific webinars at Bioingene which fosters knowledge exchange among researchers, industry professionals, and young scientists.
