Dr. Rollin Sears

Rollin ('Rollie') Sears is President of Prairie View Genetics in Junction City, Kansas (USA). He holds a B.Sc. in Agronomy from Washington State University (USA), an M.Sc. in Agronomy/Crop Science from Montana State University (USA), and a Ph.D. in Plant Genetics from Oregon State University (USA). As a wheat breeder, Rollie focused on improved wheat production efficiency through the release of improved wheat cultivars, both in the public and private sectors. As a past Board member and Treasurer of the Borlaug Training Foundation, he is committed to strengthening capacity building and applied, field-based training of young agricultural professionals.
