Dr. Roy Cantrell

Roy Cantrell is an independent crop breeding consultant and former President of the Borlaug Training Foundation. He holds a B.Sc. degree from Texas Tech University and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Plant Breeding from the University of Minnesota. Roy spent many years in both public and private plant breeding and administrative roles in both wheat and cotton. He has trained many graduate students and has been involved with several different programs to help support graduate student education.
