Sarrah Ben M’Barek is an Assistant Professor and Research Scientist at the Regional Field Crop Research Center in Beja, Tunisia (CRRGC) and Tunisian coordinator of the Wheat Septoria Precision Phenotyping Platform led by CIMMYT in partnership with the Institution of Agriculture Research and Higher Education in Tunisia. She holds an M.Sc. in Plant Biotechnology and a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from the Wageningen University and Research Centre in the Netherlands. Sarrah's activities are focused on wheat foliar diseases, adopting good agronomy practices to promote food security, and basic and applied studies on plant pathogens and host-plant resistance. She enjoys advising M.Sc. and Ph.D. students and has a very strong interest in strengthening capacity building and increasing national and international collaborations.
