The Borlaug Training Foundation Board of Directors and Advocates are committed to this project as demonstrated by the volunteering of their time and resources. To make our efforts more dynamic and effective, we require essential funding to cover operational and program costs, such as travel expenses for course facilitators, training materials, and overhead expenses.

The fundraising goal of the Foundation is to build an endowment to fund long-term stability and support for training courses. This is a difficult task in today’s financial climate. Accordingly, we are currently investigating the possibility of small corporate or academic grants targeted at supporting the training expenses of several young scientists per year.
