I'm Doaa Ahmed Mohamed Hamza, Ph.D. Researcher working at the Wheat Research Department, Field Crop Research Institute, Agriculture Research Center, Egypt.

I'm a wheat breeder interested in breeding and biotechnology techniques to evaluate and produce new genotypes that have tolerance to abiotic stresses, especially drought stress because it has affected a big area of my country.

In the training program, I learned that I must give my best to realize my goals and I will never give up until I am a hunger fighter like Dr. Norman Borlaug - ‘You can't build peace on an empty stomach’.

Hence, I am always searching for what will increase and develop my skills in order to achieve my goal. I'm interested in expanding my professional horizons by seeking new challenges in the area of wheat improvement.
